Be Aware With Your Data While Backing Up

Everybody should be very careful while backing up your data. Your data is your work property. Just imagine if you lost your data, there could be lot of loss of your work or business. Even you could lose your customer’s list or probably data too. Always keep some point in mind while taking back up of important data.

Ddata Backup

1.Totally depend on redundant disks:
It’s wise decision of using redundant disks. Disk arrangement using RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks) 1, 5 and 6 can continue to work if a drive fails. But it is also possible that all drives can fail at a time due to power surge or defective controller. Or Data can corrupt or can delete accidentally. Therefore it’s not sufficient to rely only on redundant disks.

2.Depend only on online media:
Suppose you are backing up your data on external chips or drives. But you have to be careful to disconnect the drive and move it another location. If you keep the drive connected, it can be possible that your data can be erasing due to virus entrance in your system or hacker hacks your system, you might lose your data. Therefore it’s good habit to backup and remove your hard disk or external drives and keep it away from your system to another location.

3.Keeping all backups online:
Backing up data online is not bad idea. Your data can be safe with online sites. But just think that sometimes that site or service provider can go through an accident of fire. And lost all their stored data, then what? Obviously you also lose your data and off course will hamper your business too. Therefore always be careful while keeping your data online. Always Keep it on different site and make its multiple copies.

4.Testing your backups:
You back up your data to prevent from loss and can restore it whenever needed. But have you ever tested to restore it? Whenever you back up your data first time, always be sure that you can restore your data properly and correctly. So that you can know that you are following correct path and doing correct way. Always keep habit to check your back up data.

5.Keep you data at multiple places:
There are various methods to take back up of your data. All methods are good at their level. But there could be some disadvantages to the methods. To keep your data safe always keep it using different methods. Make multiple copies of your data. So that if one occur problem then you can at least restore it from another location.

Easy Solutions to Fix Slow Desk Top Computer

There are many ways to fix your computer error. The following tips will definitely speed up your desk top computer even if it is too old. And will also prevent future problems.

  1. Increase the memory of RAM and upgrade the memory module on desk top. According to your motherboard capacity you add more RAM of same memory size. It can be 2 Gigabytes of RAM; SD-RAM, DDR-SDRAM, RD-RAM, V-RAM or other versions of RAM. Greater memory storage will help to increase your pc speed. Use of different memory capacities will cause damage to the other RAM.
  2. You should keep clean the copper interface of the RAM and other components inside the desktop computer. Before starts cleaning keep these things into mind that Switch off and unplug your desktop computer first, remove static electricity from your body by placing your hands on any grounded object or the metal case of your desktop computer. Remove the memory modules, video card, sound card, and LAN card. Use a pencil eraser to rub off slightly the extra built up copper oxides on the copper interface of each module. Don’t use your extra force to cleaning or don’t twist the modules. Complete cleaning by using a painting brush to remove the dust.
  3. Uninstall unnecessary and unused software applications. Unnecessary software applications slow down the desktop computer’s processor. Therefore remove software which you don’t use.
  4. Always make partitions for C drive. Keep your C drive at minimum size. Keep about 8 to 10 gigabytes of hard drive memory in the C drive.
  5. Keep habit of installing software in other drive i.e. other than C drive. Keep C drive free to install other basic software that need to be installed on the C drive only.
  6. Always save your files on partitions or an external hard drive. This will also help your files to be infected from dangerous virus.
  7. Keep your computer always updated by good antivirus or antispyware. This will prevent virus to corrupt or infect your work or files.
  8. To speed up desk top computer also keep registry clean. Use a registry cleaner to clean up and organize your registry. An organized, cleaned-up registry increases the speed of your desktop computer.
  9. Clean your desktop computer frequently. Clean the insides of your desktop computer once in a while and brush off the dust that builds up on horizontally-oriented parts.
